This morning I met with two private investigators about our non-profit. I quickly learned that the woman investigator's husband did mission work in Haiti for ten years. I quickly learned the male investigator was also a Christian. It didn’t take long to dissolve the pointless complaint from the dear soul who clearly has too much time on their hands. They said unfortunately most of there work is spent dealing with complaints that have no relevancy because of people trying to make others lives difficult.
We ended up talking about the ministry most the time. I shared how we are looking for a church to take on this project as a financial investment to see the fruits of their labor overtime. I also said we are always looking for churches where we can share our story. The woman investigator said she has a church of 3,000 and gave me the information of her pastor to potentially share at her church sometime. What the enemy intends for evil God works out for good. How awesome would it be if we end up speaking at her church all because someone filed a complaint about us? I think that would make an awesome story for God’s glory.
Our first building will be up soon. It's going to work as a storage area for the construction and a place for a guard to take watch 24/7. We will build the toilets and shower area next and then we need about $12,000 for the first part of the orphanage building. If anyone ever feels led to join us in fundraising in any way, or has a church that would like to get on board, please reach out to our team!
