In 2017 Robyn and Jordan Morales were called to adopt a five year old boy from a specific orphanage in Haiti that Robyn visited. When God called her to adopt him, she began researching and found it was literally impossible by all human means. Clinging to the truth, that faith the size of a mustard seed moves mountains, the couple began the journey that reminded them of Noah building an ark before the flood. God performed miracle after miracle and after five years of God moving mountains, that little boy became part of the Morales family.
Their son's Haitian name was Wood-Niky. Robyn started calling him Nike when she visited the orphanage over the years and the name stuck. Nike means victory and so it only seemed fitting for his middle name to be In-Jesus. As the Morales family adapted to becoming a family of five, the couple sought out God’s will for what he wanted them to do next. Robyn and Jordan both desired to build an orphanage one day. In the summer of 2023, God brought them to their next calling and told them it was time to start building an orphanage. This next step of faith called them to cash in what they had to buy land in Haiti and start a non-profit. Nike In-Jesus Ministries was founded in January of 2024. The non-profit now is working towards igniting the body of Christ around them to help bring victory to other children, beginning with an orphanage to provide shelter and food for orphans in Haiti. Many travel on mission trips or see children without a home and reply, “Oh I wish I could take them all,” and do nothing. The call of Nike In-Jesus Ministries is to not just say something, but to do something. Together we hope to give many children a home and teach that many that victory is found in Jesus.
